    Andy Katz | Managing Partner

    Andy is Managing Partner of VA² and GP of Trifecta Capital Fund,. He is responsible for advising family offices, professional athletes and team owners on investment strategy and portfolio execution.

    Andy is an entrepreneur, connector of people and dots, and doer at heart. Katz has been advising the investment community for over a decade. Katz is also a mentor to entrepreneurs who are on a mission that encompasses both financial and social gain.

    Previous to VA²/Trifecta, Katz founded three venture and PE backed businesses, and served as a strategic advisor to Family Offices and PE/VC funds. During these years, he learned first hand the importance of smart capital and patience. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Andy climbed the executive ranks of leading technology companies, including the 2009 No. 1 company on the prestigious Deloitte 2009 Technology Fast 500 list.

     

    Katz is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina.

    Bob Cramer | Partner

    Bob Cramer has spent nearly 30 years starting, leading and cheering on cutting-edge technology companies and forward-thinking non-profits.

     

    Bob co-founded and served as Chairman and CEO of one of Atlanta’s first homegrown companies to go public (A.D.A.M., Inc). Bob has personally invested in 30+ venture companies, worked as a partner in a micro-VC fund (Johnson Venture Partners), advised and consulted with numerous promising early-stage companies (Chairman Partners), and is an LP in numerous venture funds.

     

    Over the past five years, Bob’s pre-seed investment portfolio includes: VIVA Finance, Yellowcard, Impiricus, Workweek Media, Art Pharmacy, Speedchain, 6AM City, ServeScape, AthletesGoLive, GreenBoom, NIcklpay, Caretrack, Poppy Flowers, and SmartPM.

    Bob attended Emory University and graduated from Tufts University in 1982.

    Tom Mann, CFA | Partner

    Tom has almost 50 years of experience in various senior strategic and operational management positions in large, global financial institutions and small entrepreneurial environments. He possesses unique sell and buy side perspectives in traditional fundamental and quantitative, uncorrelated alternative investments.

     

    Mann holds CFA, MBA and JD designations and degrees, from NYU Stern School of Business and Fordham Law School, where he serves on the Deans Strategic Planning committee, respectively.

     

    Mann has served or is serving as both a director and as banker to a broad range of asset managers and other financial institutions.
